Last week I had the opportunity to hear Douglas Cardinal, architect for the Canadian Museum of Civilization in Ottawa and the National Museum of the American Indian in Washington , speak about Canadian identity and architecture. Which reminded me I had some photos to upload.
I took these on my usual Wednesday walk from Hull to Ottawa along the Alexandra Bridge, during the Tulip Festival.
While Ottawa may not be recognized as having the most stunning architecture, this walk (especially on a sunny day makes you realize there are some gems scattered around the city.
