Ottawa seems to be brimming with events this September!

Next Monday check out one of the Ottawa International Writers’ Festival talks with Cory Doctorow, coeditor of BoingBoing.net, writer for Make, Information Week, the Guardian online, and Locus, and the former European director of the Electronic Frontier Foundation, for a look at his recently released book Little Brother - what could happen in a world where security trumps individual freedom - and how one tech-savvy teenager fights back.
Before the talk, you can also read up and download the book for free.
It takes place at St. Brigid’s Centre for the Arts and Humanities (314 St. Patrick St. @ Cumberland St). from 7:00-8:30 p.m.
Tickets are $15 / $10 for students and seniors, and free for Festival Members and Carleton students. Groups organized through schools can attend free as part of our Think Ink program for young readers: call Kate at 613-562-1243 or email kate@writersfestival.org to reserve complimentary tickets.
