Mary Ann, of Ottawa vintage fashion fame, sent me a reminder about one of the best fall events in Ottawa that happens every year: the 15th Annual Ottawa Fabric Flea Market! The Market is filled with fabric, patterns, needlework supplies, knitting & weaving yarns, buttons, ribbons, etc… and, I won’t lie, lots of frantic women.
Here’s the details:
Date: Saturday, Oct. 17th
Time: 10 am – 2 pm
Location: Glebe Community Centre, 175 Third Avenue at Lyon
Admission is $2.00. Proceeds to benefit Cambridge Street Community School. Bring lots of bags. And also check out the cafe there that sells, what I’ve heard, yummy scones!
I’ll be one of the frantic women on site. See you there!
