For those of you who missed opening weekend for Winterlude, there’s still *lots* of Spins & Needles stuff going on during the next two weekends of Winterlude.
Here’s the lowdown:
- This Friday from 8:00-10:30 p.m., we’ll be in downtown Ottawa at the Crystal Garden Lounge, Confederation Park throwing an outdoor winter edition of Spins & Needles. There’ll be some nice crisp beats filtering throughout the park, but lots of materials to make winter-related projects like wooly plush monsters. Plus you can stroll past the Winterlude Urban Cozy Project just outside the Lounge.
- Saturday and Sunday from 12:00-4:00 p.m. (and the following weekend) we’ll be indoors mixing beats and making stuff at Maison Charron, Jacques-Cartier Park in downtown Gatineau, Quebec which is home to the Winterlude Craft Labs. Anyone of any age can come on down and make some stuff, including contributing a piece to the Winterlude Urban Cozy Project. Look for the cozy-covered trees and you’ll spot the Maison.
Here’s some video of last Friday night’s party. And remember to dress warmly if you’re coming out! (although the weather forecast indicates its going to be a great night!) See you there!
