Well, it’s finally all coming together – this past Monday I launched my brand spanking new online shop on Etsy called, you guessed it, Spin Off Stuff! And just in time for the holidays!

The shop will feature handmade accessories, housewares, jewellery, vintage and other quirky goods! Expect lots of one-of-a-kind items for grown-up boys and girls inspired by frequent research on what’s new in craft, fashion, and design remixed with regular trips to local thrift/charity stores, travels to various international cities and just plain experimenting.

I’ll be adding new items each day so be sure to check back frequently.

I’m still in the midst of uploading my items and figuring things out, but it’s an exciting time for me, as I’m super excited to share with everyone what I like to make. The whole process is a big learning experience for me as I try to photograph items with just the right amount of light, rally friends to join me for a fashion photoshoot, determine shipping prices, etc.

Above is one of my featured items, a ceramic sushi dish which features a pink octopus from my vintage illustration collection which I’ve handdrawn onto the dish. You can use it for sushi, cookies, jewellery – it’s really versatile. This, other sea animals dishes, clocks, scarves, etc. are now available.
